Originally, this small and beautiful town, Modinagar, was established as industrial area but now it is becoming popular as education hub which was the dream of Dr. D.K.Modi (The President of Dr. K.N.Modi Foundation). College arboretum campus is full of billowing trees in a sprawling park-like setting. Founded in 2005 by the eminent industrialist Late Dr. K.N.Modi, spreading over 20-acre, setting blends of collegial tradition with modern facilities.

Free Wifi Campus:
COLLEGES IN the city, in a bid to catch up with the age of information technology, are now providing free WiFi to students.
KNGD College, Modinagar, started the service in 2009 and students are seen reaping its benefits.The free service not only helps students in their studies and projects but also gives Internet access to students who don’t have it otherwise.“The WiFi facility is very convenient for students as they can complete a lot of their research and data collection for assignments. They can even finish off their assignments in the college itself,”“It’s a relief to be able to work on assignments in the college. From projects to reading up on topics before class, we are always up to speed,”“Students have access to WiFi in the canteen, library, corridors , gymnasium and Hostel apart from the computer laboratory,”However, colleges have also ensured that students don’t misuse the service during class hours.“We make sure that students use the facility for academic purposes only.
